Bourbon Glazed Salmon

This delicious and easy meal is packed full of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids found in the salmon. Serve with some sautéed veggies and brown rice for a complete meal! 

3 Tbsp brown sugar
3 Tbsp bourbon
2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp grated peeled fresh ginger
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 (6-oz) skinless salmon fillets
cooking spray
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
1 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

1. Combine brown sugar, bourbon, soy sauce, ginger, lime juice, garlic, and blak pepper in a zip bag. Add fish to bag and marinate for 1 1/2 hours.
2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add fish and marinade to pan and cook fish 4 minutes on each side or until done.
3. When serving, sprinkle each piece with 1 Tbsp green onions and 3/4 tsp sesame seeds.
