Lately I have been into drinking smoothies in the morning. They are quick, easy, and I can drink them in the car on the way to work! This recipe is my favorite so far – packed full of dark delicious berries you can easily hide spinach in it! This is also a great way to trick your kids into eating spinach – just don’t let them watch you make it!!
2 cups frozen mixed berries (I buy them in bulk when they are on sale and freeze for smoothies!)
1/2 cup fresh spinach
6 oz low-fat fruit flavored yogurt
1/2 cup 100% berry juice
Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add extra juice if it is too thick. YUM!
